We believe in standing behind our product. If MFDTools doesn't work for you, you have clear options. Read this policy carefully and reach out if anything is unclear.

2. What's never refundable
⚠ The following are NOT eligible for refund:
- Customer who violated Terms of Service (misrepresentation, fraud, prohibited uses)
- Customer banned for misuse of branded suite (sharing PIN publicly, etc.)
- Renewal payments (always 7-day no-questions-asked, after that pro-rata as above)
- Launch promo discounts (₹999/year rate is non-refundable as it's already at cost)
- Free tier users (no payment, no refund applicable)
3. How to request a refund
- Email [email protected] with subject "Refund Request" — include:
- Your firm name
- Registered email + mobile
- Payment date and amount
- Reason for refund (optional but helpful for our improvement)
- We will respond within 3 business days with eligibility decision
- If approved, refund initiated within 7 working days via the same method as payment (UPI/NEFT)
- Bank may take additional 3–5 days to credit
4. Cancellation (without refund)
You can cancel anytime — no need to give reasons:
- Email [email protected] with "Cancel" in subject
- Or simply do not renew at end of subscription period
- Your suite remains active until the current paid period ends
- After expiry, your branded URL will show an expired message after a 14-day grace period
- Data retained per Privacy Policy for 12 months in case you return
5. Service disruption credits
If MFDTools.com is down for more than 24 consecutive hours (excluding scheduled maintenance), we will offer a pro-rata credit toward your next renewal automatically. No refund request needed.
"Down" means: mfdtools.com homepage, customer suites, or portal completely inaccessible. Slowness, minor bugs, or third-party (Supabase/Vercel) issues outside our control do not qualify.
6. Renewal & price changes
- Renewal is manual, not auto-charged. We send reminders 30/15/7 days before expiry.
- Launch promo customers (₹999/year) — your rate is locked for life as long as you renew before expiry
- Lapse the renewal > 30 days → you may be required to pay the then-current price (no auto-promo restoration)
- Major price changes (above 25%) — we'll give 90 days notice and grandfather existing customers for at least 12 more months
7. Disputes
If you're not satisfied with our refund decision:
- Reply to our decision email with a written objection within 14 days
- We will review with senior management and respond within 7 business days
- If still unresolved, escalate to mediation/arbitration as per Terms Section 16
